Token Of Appreciation

The company that I used to work for is going to have employees aprreciation on the last Friday of March for all employees. They had a good year last year inspite of the economic situation.

Because of this, a friend of mine who is a manager of their Woodbridge branch was tasked to take care of the tokens which will be given to every employee in recognition of their efforts in keeping the company as one of the best in the field. She consider it as a privilege to be able to be a part of this special event in their company. Then she saw the challenge ahead. The challenge of finding the right token for each and everyone in this very diversed work force from different kinds of cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Americans (black and white), Asians, Hispanics, Latinos, Europeans, Pacific Islanders...name it and they have them.

Thanks to the internet. I found this company that specializes in making custom pens and custom printed envelopes that is fitting for this type of events. The name of this company is Amsterdam Printing. So I suggested this site to her. I think their customized pens with the company logo in it is really nice. When she presented her proposal to her boss, he immediately like the idea and told her that this is a very good token for the ocassion. They agreed to order different colors to make it a little bit different for everyone.

It is not an expensive gift but I know everybody will appreciate it. After all, what matters most is not the amount but the pride of working for a company that takes care of it's people and shares its success to every employee.
